Song lyrics to some, a dream to us both! From our earliest conversations as members of Future Business Leaders of America, what was long night conversations regarding an organization's future became conversations about our own life, goals, dreams, passions, and more.

Nov. 1, 2023 our first date was at an Italian Dinner and Movie in Salisbury, NC.
​
Oct. 10, 2024 a romantic Crepe Breakfast, led to a proposal in the Reynolda Gardens.
​
Nov. 1, 2025, you get to enjoy our day with us as we embark on our lives together in the Church, and the Reynolda Building in Downtown, Winston-Salem.

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN!
Deborah and Ivan met on the lawn of Western Carolina University at an event designed to bring students together as campus clubs, organizations, and programs shared their plans and attributes with prospective students. The two met over a shared interest of BUSINESS ....nerds.... this love for business, professional development and success led the two on a journey they didn't think possible.

Both Deborah and Ivan owe their meeting to the work of Future Business Leaders of America, an organization Ivan and Deborah are continuously passionate about.
​
WCU holds a very special place in their hearts as both are graduates of WCU, pictured right is the first time they were able to walk under the Alumni tower as graduates.
​
This common passion brought the two together and truly became, college sweethearts!
